Diane Dawber’s interactive presentations with students include setting up each poem for the unexplained situation which it examines, a dramatic reading of the poem, and an exploration of the connections to the students’ own unexplained events so that everyone goes away with lots of fodder for creative work in language, science, art, etc.

Workshops: In workshops, Diane Dawber set the stage for creative work as she does in presentations and then continues into the writing, and, if accompanied by illustrator Pat Wilkinson, art. She includes visualizing, sequencing, exploring accuracy, selecting, editing for ideas, editing for technique and presenting work in various modes.
